Ferran López

More than 24 years working as an ornithologist in the Delta del Llobregat Natural Reserves have provided him with extensive experience in both bird identification and conservation, which he has expanded through travels to more than 35 countries worldwide. Among his favorite destinations are Costa Rica, Colombia, Israel, and the Azores. He has collaborated on scientific projects in Spain, Morocco, and the Peruvian Amazon and has contributed to various publications. He spent seven years as a member of the Catalonia Avifaunistic Committee (CAC) and is currently a member of the SEO/BirdLife Rare Bird Committee. He has worked as a birdwatching guide in different countries and is the editor/founder of Reservoir Birds, Spain's most visited rarity record website. He is the Spanish ornithologist who has observed the most species within the Western Palearctic.

Xavi Larruy

With a degree in Biological Sciences, he has been working for over 20 years in various natural spaces in Catalonia, mainly conducting bird censuses, which he has been passionately studying since 1991, with a particular interest in migration and conservation. He is a member of the Catalonia Avifaunistic Committee (CAC) and co-author of several publications, such as Medi Natural Solsonès. He combines his interest in spreading awareness of nearby areas, where he has guided since the age of 17, with his passion for traveling around the world. Among the 27 countries he has visited, notable ones include Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Madagascar, Oman, and Malaysia.
