After more than 24 years working as ornithologist at the Llobregat Delta Nature Reserves he has amassed a wide experience either on field identification as well as on conservation, which he extended thanks to many travels to more than 35 countries over the world. Some of his favourite destinations are Costa Rica, Colombia, Israel and the Azores. He has participated in scientific projects in Spain, Morocco and the Peruvian Amazon region, and he’s author of several publications. He was during seven years member of the Catalan Ornithological Committee (CAC) and is nowadays member of the Spanish Rarities Committee. He has worked as ornithological guide on different places and he’s also editor at Reservoir Birds, the website informing of rarities with more visitors in Spain. He’s the top Spanish birder in the WP list.
Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, he has been working for more than 20 years in many Catalan natural areas, mainly conducting bird censuses, which he has been studying passionately since 1991, with a special interest in their migrations and their conservation. Member of the Catalan Avifauna Committee and co-author of several publications, such as the Medi Natural del Solsonès. He combines a great interest in the dissemination of the nearest places, where he has been guiding since the age of 17, with his passion for traveling around the world. Among the 27 countries visited are Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Madagascar, Oman and Malaysia.
Manager with wide experience in multinational of services in integral management in business units, geographical and functional areas, with competences and responsibilities regarding strategy, commercial policy, R + D, financial management, RRHH, inside an strong sight of business and creativity. Amateur birder and photographer from many years ago, he’s running as much as possible to the Llobregat Delta.
